Production & QA Technician

Lightel Technologies, Inc. in Renton, WA is hiring a full-time Production & QA Technician to build, test, and inspect products on our equipment and inspector product lines and support our QA and ISO quality system tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform product assembly, testing, troubleshooting, diagnosis, adjustment and repair of products
• Improve product assembly processes
• Timely find and resolve technical problems and support users in product troubleshooting and failure analysis.
• Assist in creating, modifying, and testing of new products and processes.
• Create and maintain production work instructions and user’s manuals.
• Prepare and maintain the production-related drawings, BOMs, and inventory records.
• Perform incoming materials checks, in-process and final inspections across different product lines
• Help maintain ISO quality system records and support equipment calibrations

Minimum Qualifications:

• Associate Degree (AA or AS), preferably in a technical field

• Ability to read and follow written instructions and drawings

• Good manual dexterity and attention to detail

• Basic computer skills (data entry, email)

• Ability to work in a team and communicate clearly in English

• Strong hands-on and independent working ability

• Legally authorized to work in the US

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in electronics, optical, or precision equipment assembly
• Prior QA, inspection, or incoming inspection experience
• Working knowledge of an ISO quality system (such as ISO 9001)
• Soldering or IPC-style workmanship experience
• Knowledge of nonconformance (NCR) and corrective action processes
