Production and Support Engineer

Overview

We are looking for a Production Support Engineer with experience to monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain business-critical applications and systems in production environments. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of SQL, Linux, application troubleshooting, monitoring, incident management, and IT support processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor production applications and systems to ensure availability and performance.
• Troubleshoot application, database, server, and system-related issues.
• Analyze application logs and identify root causes of production incidents.
• Write and execute SQL queries for data validation and issue resolution.
• Monitor system performance, alerts, jobs, and scheduled processes.
• Handle L1/L2 production support tickets and incidents.
• Respond to production alerts and resolve issues within defined SLAs.
• Perform incident investigation and provide timely resolution.
• Coordinate with Development, QA, Database, Infrastructure, and DevOps teams.
• Escalate complex issues to appropriate technical teams.
• Support application deployments and post-deployment validation.
• Perform basic health checks and application monitoring.
• Maintain incident documentation, troubleshooting guides, and knowledge-base articles.
• Participate in root cause analysis and preventive action activities.
• Support scheduled maintenance, releases, and production changes.
• Identify repetitive issues and suggest automation or process improvements.

Eligibility

• Any Graduate
• Experience in Production Support, Application Support, Technical Support, or IT Operations.
• Freshers with strong technical knowledge and practical projects can apply.
• Good troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Good communication and incident-handling skills.
