Production and Support Engineer

Job Title: Production Support Engineer (Techno-Functional)

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated Production/Application Support Engineer with strong experience in Wealth Management platforms, preferably WealthSpectrum, and a sound understanding of wealth management and capital market business processes.

The ideal candidate should possess a blend of functional and technical expertise to support production applications, perform production validations, execute testing activities, troubleshoot application issues, and ensure smooth business operations. The candidate should have hands-on experience in SQL/PL-SQL, incident management, production support, release validation, and coordination with business and development teams.

Key Responsibilities

1. Production Application Support

• Provide Level 2 and Level 3 production support for Wealth Management applications, primarily WealthSpectrum, and other business-critical applications.
• Monitor application health, identify production issues, perform root cause analysis, and ensure timely resolution within defined SLAs.
• Coordinate with development, infrastructure, vendors, and business teams for issue resolution.

2. Production QA & Release Validation

• Perform production sanity testing, smoke testing, regression testing, and post-deployment validation after every release.
• Validate production fixes and ensure application stability before business sign-off.
• Prepare test scenarios, execute functional test cases, and document test results.
• Participate in UAT and production deployment activities.

3. Technical Troubleshooting

• Investigate production issues using MS SQL, PL/SQL, and database queries.
• Analyze application logs, database records, interfaces, APIs, and batch jobs to identify issues.
• Support data correction activities wherever required.

4. Functional Support

• Provide functional support for Wealth Management and Capital Market applications.

• Understand and troubleshoot business processes related to:

• Client Onboarding

• Portfolio Management

• Holdings & Transactions

• Trade Processing

• Corporate Actions

• NAV & Valuation

• Fee Calculations

• Client Reporting

• RM & Client Portal functionalities

6. Coordination & Communication

• Work closely with Business Users, Relationship Managers, Operations Teams, Developers, QA, and Vendors.
• Provide regular updates on issue resolution, deployments, and production health.
• Participate in release planning and change management activities.

7. Documentation

• Prepare and maintain:

• Test Cases

• Production Validation Documents

• RCA Documents

• SOPs

• Knowledge Base Articles

• User Manuals

Mandatory Skills & Experience

Functional Skills

• Minimum 46 years of experience supporting Wealth Management applications.

• Hands-on working experience in WealthSpectrum is mandatory.

• Strong understanding of Wealth Management and Capital Market business processes.

• Good knowledge of:

• Financial Products (Equity, Mutual Funds, Bonds, PMS, AIF, etc.)
