Production Assembler & Technical Assistant

We are recruiting for someone to join us as a Product Assembler, and Repair Technical Assistant, working 37.5 hours per week Mon-Fri on a permanent contract.

Electrical wiring and electronic soldering are key skillsets required plus Mechanical knowledge will be an advantage.

This role is to provide an assembly build and technical support including warehouse fulfilment functions to our existing team.

Key Responsibilities include:

· Electrical Soldering and Wiring with small componentry

· Assembly build, repair and packing of light to medium weight medical equipment.

· Hand on technical assistance.

· Stock handling, packing and shipping tasks.

· Laser Marking Medical Instruments - Training will be given.

· Attention to detail and processes.

· Plus Other ad hoc production and warehouse tasks.

Do you have what we are looking for?

· Electrical Soldering and Wiring with small componentry cabling and connectors.

· Good hand skills and communications skills both verbal and written would be preferred.

· Technical ability and problem-solving skills.

· Able to work effectively as part of a team with flexible approach to undertaking a wide variety of tasks with the ability to plan and prioritise their own work.

· The initiative and enthusiasm to take part in all aspects of the of work, ensuring that a high, professional standard of work is maintained in a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.

· Excellent team working skills with the ability to build effective relationships, using tact and diplomacy when dealing with others.

Job Types: Permanent, Full-time

Pay: £14.00-£16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
