Production Assembler

About the Opportunity

Ya Batho (Pty) Ltd is looking for a reliable and quality-focused Production Assembler to join our Operations team on a limited-duration contract.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling various products and systems in a production environment, ensuring that all work is completed accurately, safely and in accordance with approved product drawings, work instructions and quality standards.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced hands-on individual who takes pride in producing high-quality work and can work efficiently within a structured production environment.

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 / Matric – Mathematics and Science preferred.
• N3 Electronics or a related trade qualification.
• Experience working with electronic products or assemblies.
• Previous production, manufacturing or assembly experience.
• Experience working with product drawings, job cards, pick lists and work instructions.
• Soldering experience.
• A valid driver's licence.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble products and systems according to approved product drawings and work instructions.
• Conduct visual inspections to ensure completed products conform to required specifications and quality standards.
• Identify and report non-conforming or poor-quality products to the relevant supervisor/manager.
• Complete job cards accurately, including recording time spent on work conducted.
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe production environment.
• Follow all applicable company policies, procedures and quality management requirements.
• Comply with workplace health and safety requirements at all times.
• Participate in required product-specific and company training.
• Perform additional duties as reasonably required by the company.

Pay: R10 000,00 - R20 000,00 per month
