Production Assembler

Equipto Electronics Corporation is a leading manufacturer of metal packaging products for the electronics industry. We design and manufacture a wide variety of standard equipment enclosures, from full-size cabinets to sub-racks, at our facility in Aurora, Illinois. Special customer needs are fulfilled by modifications to standard designs or by custom enclosures. We are looking for an experienced manufacturing Assembler to join our growing company!

General Responsibilities

• Read, interpret and follow basic blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, specifications, bills of materials, and other written instructions or procedures to accurately assemble equipment and products
• Utilize hand tools such as drills, cutting tools, and vises.
• Maintain inventory of product in workstations
• Perform quality work checks to ensure the product meets quality standards
• Identify product defects and complete appropriate documentation when defects are identified
• Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures
• Maintain a clean and safe work area

Requirements/Skills

• Must be able to use tape measure, calipers, and machinists squares.
• Must be able to comply with all company policies, rules, procedures and Code of Conduct
• Must be able to interact well with others.
• Must be able to work independently, or in a team setting
• Must be capable of working under tight time constraints in a high volume environment with multiple priorities
