Production assembler

About the role: 

• Reading and interpreting basic drawings, diagrams, bill of materials and written instructions for assembly.
• Quality checks of all essential products post-production and during site installation.
• Maintaining work areas and equipment, safe of potential hazards and safety risks.
• Storing goods and materials correctly and in accordance with standard procedures.
• Carrying out basic quality and testing checks, with the ability to identify and troubleshoot potential product issues.
• Assembly of goods and monitoring the production process for maximum efficiency.
• Potential welding and fabrication tasks for qualified welders.

About you:
Skills and Experience:
To be eligible for this position:

• Preferably have experience with fitting/assembling industrial products in a production environment.
• Electrical / Pneumatic experience is highly desirable for this role
• Qualified welder with experience will be offered a higher rate.
• Experience with Heavy Vehicles and Semi-trailers would be preferred.
• A genuine team player who works effectively with others and is self-motivated when working autonomously.
• Experience in using a variety of power and hand tools.
