Hours: Monday to Thursday, 8:00am–5:00pm; Friday, 8:00am–2:30pm

Bespoke Career Solutions is recruiting Assembly Operatives for a busy manufacturing company in Cannock.

This hands-on manufacturing role involves the general assembly of manufactured units using a range of hand tools. Applicants must have practical experience and be confident using hand tools safely and correctly.

What does the Assembly Operative job involve?

As an Assembly Operative, you will assemble components and manufactured units according to instructions and quality standards. The work requires good attention to detail, practical ability and confidence using tools in a production environment.

Duties will include

• Assembling manufactured units and components
• Using hand tools safely and confidently
• Using basic power tools where required
• Fitting, fastening and securing components
• Following assembly instructions and specifications
• Checking completed products for quality and accuracy
• Identifying and reporting damaged or incorrect parts
• Maintaining a clean and organised workstation
• Following company health and safety procedures

Essential requirements

• Must be able to use hand tools confidently
• Previous assembly, production, manufacturing or factory experience
• Good practical and mechanical ability
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Strong attention to detail
• Reliable, punctual and comfortable with manual work
• Able to work independently and as part of a production team

Experience as an Assembler, Assembly Operative, Production Operative, Manufacturing Operative, Factory Operative, Fitter or Mechanical Assembler would be beneficial.
