Production Assembly Assistant

About the role

The Production Assembly Assistant is responsible for supporting daily production activities, including assembling electronic and mechanical components, preparing materials, inspecting finished products, and maintaining a clean and organized production environment. The position requires attention to detail, teamwork, and the ability to follow production instructions to ensure products meet company quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform assembly of electronic, electrical, and mechanical components according to work instructions and specifications.
• Assemble hardware products, control panels, cables, and other equipment as required.
• Assist with wiring, fastening, labeling, packaging, and other production activities.
• Operate basic hand tools and assembly equipment safely.
• Conduct basic visual inspections of assembled products and assist the technical team with product testing and quality checks.
• Prepare and arrange materials required for daily production.
• Assist with receiving, checking, counting, and organizing incoming components.
• Update daily production and assembly records and maintain accurate documentation of materials used.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the production area and follow company safety procedures and equipment-handling guidelines.
• Follow electrostatic discharge (ESD) precautions when handling sensitive electronic components.

About you

• Minimum secondary school education, SPM, or equivalent.
• Previous experience in production assembly, electronics manufacturing, or factory operations is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of electronic components, wiring, or mechanical assembly is preferred.
• Ability to understand and follow assembly instructions.
• Basic knowledge of hand tools and measuring equipment is an advantage.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy.
• Responsible, hardworking, and disciplined.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures.
• Ability to perform repetitive assembly tasks while maintaining quality.
