Production Assembly Operative

Sensing Precision are looking for a Production Assembly Operative to assist with the mechanical assembly of our products on the shop floor.

Reporting to the Production Manager and working closely with the production team to ensure our high-quality finished products and are completed in a timely fashion for customer delivery.

We are offering the role as Full Time or Part Time position.

Key requirements:

· Able to read and understand engineering drawings.

· Using pillar drill and working with small components.

· Previous experience of working in engineering environment.

· Confident using hand tools.

· Flexible and proactive approach in the work environment.

· Fit and ideally able to lift to 25kg unaided.

· Good verbal and written communication skills.

· Keen eye for detail.

· Enjoys working in a team.

Duties will also include:

· Assembling our Wilson Flow Grids.

· Basic wiring and testing of components.

· Take ownership and quality inspection of own work.

· Packing of goods and building custom sized boxes as required.

· Ensuring stock levels are up to date.

· Ensuring your workspace is tidy and safe. Maintain good housekeeping.

· Driving of the company van.

Other Advantageous Skills/Qualifications:

· Previous Electromechanical experience would be beneficial.

· Knowledge and experience of machining, turning of components for fabrication.

· Knowledge in brazing (silver soldering) would be advantageous.

· Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with ability to design own jigs/fixtures to aid process improvement.

· Previously worked in an ISO 9001, ISO 45001 or ISO 44001 company.

· Clean Driving Licence.

· Due to the location, you must drive or live near Stokenchurch.
