Production Assistant

HeliosGraphics is an established graphics and promotional products company specializing in customized signs, banners, apparel, promotional products, billboards, and neon signage. The company provides personalized products for businesses and organizations and ships products worldwide.

We are seeking a dependable, organized, and detail-oriented Production Assistant to support daily production, material preparation, order fulfillment, and shop operations.

Position Overview

The Production Assistant helps prepare materials and products for customer orders and supports the production team throughout the manufacturing and fulfillment process.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with preparing materials, graphics, apparel, signs, and promotional products.
• Organize materials and supplies for production.
• Assist with printing, cutting, finishing, packaging, and order preparation.
• Inspect products for quality and accuracy before shipment.
• Label, package, and prepare completed orders for delivery.
• Receive and organize incoming materials and supplies.
• Maintain accurate inventory of production materials.
• Keep production and storage areas clean and organized.
• Assist with loading and unloading materials when needed.
• Follow production procedures and safety guidelines.
• Communicate material shortages, damaged products, or production issues to supervisors.
• Support other production and operational activities as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous production, manufacturing, printing, warehouse, graphics, or promotional products experience is a plus but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good organizational and time-management skills.
• Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented.
• Ability to follow instructions and learn new production processes.
• Basic computer skills preferred.
• Comfortable working in a hands-on production environment.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and move materials during the workday.

Work Environment

This is a hands-on production position involving material preparation, product finishing, packaging, inventory organization, and general shop support. The successful candidate should be comfortable working in an active production environment while maintaining accuracy and quality.
