Production Assistant

Job Summary

SD Industries, LLC is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented production assistant to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will support the daily operations of our production line, ensuring smooth workflow, adherence to safety standards, and high-quality output.

Responsibilities:

• Operate power tools and hand tools safely to perform mechanical assembly and component fitting
• Interpret technical drawings, manufacturing documents, and process instructions to ensure accurate assembly and quality standards
• Use measuring instruments to verify dimensions and ensure components meet specifications
• Conduct manual handling tasks, including heavy lifting and movement of materials within the factory environment
• Follow safety protocols diligently, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to safety standards in production
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production targets while maintaining high safety standards

Requirements

• Mechanical knowledge complemented by experience using hand tools, power tools, measuring instruments, and interpreting technical drawings
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle manual handling tasks efficiently
• Experience with forklift operation is preferred but not mandatory; certification is a plus
• Strong understanding of safety standards in production environments and commitment to safety protocol adherence
• Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
