POSITION SUMMARY

The Production Assistant plays a crucial role in supporting the production team's efficient operations. This position involves collaborating with various departments to ensure smooth workflow, maintaining inventory records, and assisting in the execution of production tasks. The Production Assistant will contribute to the overall success of the production process by providing administrative and hands-on support, fostering a cooperative and productive work environment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

• Ensure all parts are produced within specified tolerances and drawing specifications.
• Follow production instructions from the Production Supervisor and/or Assistant Production Supervisor.
• Perform hand layup of materials according to work instructions, drawings, and applicable specifications.
• Assist in safely and correctly loading layups into production equipment.
• Assist in assembling components into finished goods according to applicable work instructions and quality requirements.
• Ensure a safe workplace by following safety procedures.
• Maintain an organized workspace in and around the warehouse and Clean Room.
• Make recommendations to improve overall process flow with maximum efficiency in mind.
• Work in a team environment to achieve the production goals of the company.
• Maintain equipment and contribute to clean production and warehouse areas.
• Inspect the quality of product after production.
• Read and follow verbal instructions and documents, including SOPs specific to each job.
• Promote teamwork, communication, and safety at all times.
• Consistently be on site and ready to start on time.
• Maintain professional work standards.
• Be a supporter and promoter of corporate goals, objectives, and culture.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES)

• Must be able to understand engineering concepts, basic math, and units of measurement.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Punctual and reliable.
• Ability to work with others in a team.
• Flexible and adaptable.
• Innovative approach to work highly valued.
• Some degree of flexibility; available to work overtime as needed to meet production deadlines.
• Timely communication of information.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Demonstrated ability to regularly lift fifty (50) pounds.

Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
