Production Assistant

We're a growing video production company seeking a part-time Production Assistant to help with production and post-production responsibilities. Work responsibilities would largely include assistance on a feature length documentary currently on our production slate.

Requirements:

• Enthusiastic and motivated about video production
• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a film or video production program
• Experienced in Premiere Pro
• Detail-oriented and organized
• Possesses good communication skills
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Available to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings, as needed

Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting with production tasks including gear prep, gear load/unload, setup and breakdown on filming days
• Assisting with post-production tasks including footage ingest, sourcing archival footage, sourcing stock assets, assembly editing
• Other administrative tasks related to video production including crew communication, rental house communication, voiceover coordination, and other tasks as assigned

This is a part-time position with starting pay of $15/hour with expected 10-20 hours per week. Filming days pay as 10-hour days. Up to $25/hour with more experience.
