Production Assistant

We are seeking a hardworking and reliable Production Assistant to support daily production activities and ensure smooth workflow within the production facility. The successful candidate will assist with production processes, material handling, equipment operations, quality checks, packaging, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Job Description

• Assist production staff with daily manufacturing and production activities.
• Prepare raw materials, tools, and equipment required for production.
• Support the operation of production machines and equipment as instructed.
• Assist with measuring, mixing, assembling, processing, or packaging products as required.
• Monitor production activities and report any faults, delays, or abnormalities to the Production Supervisor.
• Inspect products and materials to ensure they meet required quality standards.
• Sort, label, package, and arrange finished products for storage or dispatch.
• Maintain accurate records of production quantities, materials used, and completed tasks.
• Assist with loading, unloading, and movement of raw materials and finished products.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper organization of the production area.
• Follow company production procedures, safety regulations, and quality standards.
• Use production tools and equipment safely and responsibly.
• Assist with basic cleaning and routine maintenance of production equipment.
• Minimize material waste and report damaged or defective materials.
• Work closely with production supervisors and other team members to meet daily production targets.
• Perform other duties assigned by the Production Supervisor or Management.

Requirements/Skills

• Minimum of SSCE/WAEC/NECO; OND or relevant technical qualification is an advantage.
• Proven years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and standard operating procedures.
• Good physical stamina and ability to perform hands-on production tasks.
• Basic knowledge of production processes and workplace safety.
• Good attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Reliable, punctual, hardworking, and willing to learn.
• Ability to work shifts or extended hours when required.

Pay: ₦100,000.00 per month
