Production Assistant

Position Summary

Assists the Production Supervisor in the processing of Customer products. Processes Customer product utilizing gamma processing modalities. Ensures safe operation of processing equipment in accordance with operating regulations and procedures; assuring proper care of Customer product.

Duties

• To load and unload customers product in accordance to quality specification.
• To perform general movements of goods around the site.
• To ensure accuracy of documentation at all times.
• To report any abnormality of customer product to superior.
• To assist in the warehouse utilization as to maximize the useable space and ensure all customer product can be clearly identified and retrieved.
• To fully comply to company rules, QA procedures and safety rules.
• To ensure good housekeeping practices are employed.
• To perform any reasonable request in respect of the efficient running of the site.
• To maintain a tidy and clean personal appearance.
• Actively participate in LEAN initiative

Education Degree

High School Diploma or GED

Required Experience This position requires knowledge of English due to the nature of the duties involved, including regular communications outside the province of Quebec, training, email communications, and frequent meetings and interactions with English- only employees.
