Production Assistant

Our New York team supports a varied calendar of pop-up experiences, brand showcases, conferences, product launches and live creative events across Manhattan. We are looking for a Production Assistant who wants to understand what happens behind the scenes and is happy getting involved wherever the production team needs support.

Behind the production

As a Production Assistant, you will:

• Prepare signage, props, production materials and event supplies.
• Support rehearsals, sound checks and production walk-throughs.
• Prepare backstage areas, green rooms and working spaces.
• Coordinate with production managers, venue teams, suppliers and AV colleagues.
• Welcome and direct speakers, performers, artists and other contributors.
• Track equipment, supplies and materials throughout each production.

The role suits someone interested in event production, theatre, entertainment or creative projects who wants to gain practical experience and learn how a production moves from the initial brief through to the final breakdown.

Schedule, location and pay

• Pay: $24.50–$28.75 per hour
• Hours: Full-time, Monday through Friday 9:00 a.m.–5:30 p.m.
• Location: On-site in Midtown Manhattan
• Transport: Penn Station, 34 St–Herald Square and Times Square–42 St
• Training: Paid practical training with experienced production colleagues
• Additional hours: Overtime may be available during busier production periods
