Production Assistant Manager

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic & Management Reporting

●     Present operational performance and strategic updates directly to Plant Operations Leadership (MG, AGM, GM).

●     Active contributor to monthly Production Planning and APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning) meetings.

2. Operational Excellence & KPI Management

●     Guide and support Chiefs & Engineers to drive daily production targets and operator performance.

●     Coach engineering teams on KPI tracking, root-cause analysis, and continuous process optimization.

●     Oversee manufacturing operations during new product and model launches (NPI).

●     Analyze process flows to mitigate operational risks and optimize manufacturing costs.

3. Leadership & People Development

●     Enforce strict compliance with company policies, safety rules, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

●     Monitor team performance and support structured training & development initiatives.

●     Mentor team members on ISO standards and operational best practices.

4. Continuous Improvement & Special Projects

●     Drive Lean Manufacturing and operational excellence initiatives, including TPM, QCC, Kaizen, 5S, and Energy Saving programs.

●     Support strategic plant projects, including the White Company Project.

5. EHS & ISO Compliance

●     Champion a safety-first culture across all manufacturing operations.

●     Ensure full compliance with ISO 14001 (Environmental) and ISO 45001 (Health & Safety) standards.

●     Conduct workplace inspections, assess risks, and report safety or environmental incidents promptly.

Job Qualifications

●     Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Engineering field only

●     Experience: 10–15 years of solid experience in Automotive Manufacturing Management, with a strong track record in team coaching and leadership

●     Strong expertise in IATF 16949, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards

●     Core Competencies:

○     Exceptional leadership, analytical thinking, and root-cause problem-solving skills

○     Strong team management abilities with a focus on mentoring and development

●     Skills: Good in English (written & spoken) with advanced computer literacy
