Production Assistant Manager

Job Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and monitor daily production schedules to hit delivery deadlines and volume targets.
• Supervise, train, and motivate production supervisors, line leaders, and machine operators.
• Enforce strict hygiene and safety rules, including HACCP, GMP, HALAL, ISO 22000, and FSSC 22000 standards.
• Work closely with the Quality Assurance team to fix defects, reduce waste, and handle non-conforming or rejected products.
• Coordinate with the maintenance department to service machinery, prevent downtime, and keep processing lines running smoothly.
• To monitor and verify material accuracy to ensure all materials are controlled, stored and segregated properly
• Implement lean manufacturing or process improvements to boost efficiency and cut costs.
• Assist Production Manager in managing / training manpower, processing and finished goods handling during operations
• Ad-hoc job when required.
