Production Assistant Manager (Rubber) (77376)

Working Location: Eastern Seaboard Industrial Estate (Rayong)

About the role

We are looking for a Production Assistant Manager to oversee production and engineering operations in rubber manufacturing. You will manage molding processes, production performance, quality improvement, and team development while driving efficiency and reducing defects and waste.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee rubber production processes, including material preparation, molding, and curing/vulcanization.
• Manage molding conditions, mold setup, mold cleaning, and mold management.
• Monitor production performance and ensure production targets are achieved.
• Analyze and improve product defects, waste, quality, and production efficiency.
• Lead, supervise, and develop production team members.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production reports for management.
• Support continuous improvement and 5S activities within production areas.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in any relevant field.
• At least 10 years of experience in rubber or resin manufacturing, preferably automotive parts and small components.
• At least 5 years of supervisory experience in production.
• Hands-on experience in molding, molding condition setting, mold setup, and related processes.
• Conversational English communication skills.
• Japanese language skills at N3 level or above are an advantage.
• Experience working in a Japanese company is an advantage.
• Experience in rubber product defect analysis and improvement is preferred.
• Knowledge of 5S and ISO/IATF standards is an advantage.
