Production Assistant (Operator)

About the role

Synergy Sterilisation Rawang (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking a Production Assistant (Operator) to join our team on a contract basis. This role is located in Rawang, Selangor and offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills within the sterilisation and manufacturing sector. As a Production Assistant (Operator), you will play a crucial part in our production operations, ensuring that machinery runs efficiently and safely whilst maintaining the highest quality standards. This position is essential to our daily operations and directly contributes to the success of our manufacturing processes.

What you'll be doing

• Operating and monitoring sterilisation equipment and production machinery in accordance with standard operating procedures and safety protocols
• Performing routine maintenance checks and inspections on equipment to ensure optimal performance and identify potential issues
• Conducting quality control checks on products throughout the production process to ensure they meet company standards and specifications
• Recording production data, machine parameters and operational logs accurately and maintaining detailed documentation
• Loading and unloading materials and finished products, ensuring proper handling and storage procedures are followed
• Identifying and reporting equipment malfunctions, safety hazards or quality concerns to supervisors immediately
• Assisting with cleaning and sanitation of production areas and equipment to maintain a safe and hygienic working environment
• Collaborating with team members and supervisors to meet production targets and deadlines
• Following all health, safety and environmental regulations and company policies at all times

What we're looking for

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification, with additional technical or vocational training in manufacturing or machinery operations being advantageous
• Previous experience as a machine operator, production assistant or in a similar manufacturing role
• Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to quickly learn how to operate different types of production equipment
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to follow precise instructions and standard operating procedures
• Sound understanding of health and safety regulations relevant to manufacturing environments
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented production environment and meet production quotas
• Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and supervisors
• Physical fitness and capability to perform manual tasks, including standing for extended periods and lifting materials
• Reliability and a strong commitment to punctuality and attendance
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to identify and report issues proactively
