Production Associate

Job Overview
We have an opening for a Production Associate to work on day shift. In this role you will report to the Production Manager and are required to perform a wide variety of process and maintenance procedures. TWI manufactures polishing pad products which are sold to the semiconductor industry and demand the highest levels of material quality and performance. This role is best suited to a self-motivated and ambitious individual with a high attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Execute to the daily production schedule for assigned area – material batching, lamination and packaging

· Keep all material and finished product in an ordered fashion

· All tasks to be performed as per associated procedure and safety protocols

· Print product and package labels

· Label, bag and package finished product with a high degree of attention to detail

• Drive operational standards in assigned area
• Willing to work in other areas upon request

· Maintain a clean and safe working environment

· Support a rigorous and evolving quality system to meet customer & ISO expectations

· Actively support continuous improvement through participation in implementation and/or making suggestions

• Perform daily pre-production maintenance tasks and complete associated paperwork
• Quickly escalate any equipment, product or material problems or concerns
• As needed, participate in troubleshooting equipment and production issues
• Visually inspect incoming and in process materials
• Ensure full compliance with all in process sample collection and testing

Requirements

• Minimum of High School Diploma or equivalent required, Associate Degree in a technical field preferred
• Must be able to work a 8 hour shift (much of the time standing) and routinely lift ~15 lbs and occasionally up to 30 lbs
• Ability to read and write in the English language
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow specifications and procedures in a precise manner
• Good verbal communication and comfortable working in a cross functional environment
• Ambition to learn and develop new skills
• Comfortable using Microsoft Excel, Word and Access a big plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.00 - $30.00 per hour
