Production Associate – Edibles, Pre-Rolls, Concentrates & Packaging

Help make the products behind Florist Farms and Head & Heal. We're hiring 5 Production Associates for our clean-room manufacturing team in Cortland. No cannabis experience needed — we train you on every step.

About Farmer Group

Farmer Group started as a small vegetable farm in Upstate New York. Today we're one of the state's leading cannabis producers. We still farm regeneratively, and community and sustainability still guide how we work.

What you'll do

You'll join one of four teams — edibles, pre-rolls, concentrates, or packaging — and turn finished cannabis into products ready for dispensary shelves. Our facility runs under cGMP (current Good Manufacturing Practice) rules, so every step follows a written procedure.

• Assemble, fill, label, and package products by following standard operating procedures (SOPs)
• Run filling machines, labeling machines, and other semi-automated equipment
• Tip pre-rolls, apply labels and tamper-evident seals, shrink-wrap, box, and count product
• Weigh bulk product into containers by the gram or ounce
• Record what you use and make — materials, time, waste, and finished counts — on [tablet / paper logs]
• Keep your station clean and sterile and wear the required protective gear
• Hit daily production goals while getting every unit right

What a typical day looks like

• Shift: Monday - Thursday 7:00 am - 5:30 pm (four 10's)
• You'll stand or sit at a workstation most of the shift, doing repeated hand tasks
• You'll wear gloves, a hairnet, and other protective gear in the clean room
• Phones and personal items stay in lockers outside the production floor
• You'll work around cannabis products and their smell all day

What we're looking for

Required

• 21 or older [confirm]
• Reliable transportation to our Cortland facility
• Able to stand or sit for long periods doing repetitive tasks
• Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
• Able to follow written and spoken instructions closely
• Comfortable entering simple data on a tablet or computer
• Shows up on time and takes pride in careful, accurate work

Nice to have

• Experience in food production, manufacturing, packaging, warehouse, or lab work
• Experience working under GMP, food safety, or other strict quality rules
