ABOUT THE ROLE

We’re looking for a dependable, hands-on Production Associate to become an important part of our growing production team.

You’ll help make and package BIG YES products, receive and organize inventory, maintain our food safety and sanitation standards, and make sure customer orders are produced accurately and on time.

This role starts part-time, with the potential to grow into a full-time position as our production volume increases. For the right person, there’s also an opportunity to take on more responsibility as BIG YES grows. We’re especially interested in people looking for something they can grow into, not just a short-term part-time job.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Make our food. Produce and package BIG YES products according to work instructions, recipes, and quality standards.
• Keep accurate records. Complete batch records and other required production documentation.
• Manage inventory. Receive incoming shipments and check them for quality and accuracy. Track ingredients, packaging, and supplies, including labeling and routine inventory counts.
• Protect food safety. Maintain our food safety and sanitation standards, including cleaning and sanitizing production areas during changeovers and at the end of each shift. Keep the production facility clean, organized, and ready to operate.
• Help us improve. Spot opportunities to make production safer, easier, faster, or more efficient.

And because we’re a startup, no two days will be exactly the same. We’re looking for someone who takes pride in doing things well, notices what needs to get done, and is happy to jump in wherever needed.

REQUIREMENTS

• 1+ year of food production, food manufacturing, or commercial kitchen experience
• Extremely reliable and show up on time, ready to work
• Work with a sense of urgency without sacrificing quality or accuracy
• Detail-oriented and take food safety seriously
• Take initiative instead of waiting to be told what to do
• Enjoy hands-on work and being part of a small team
• Comfortable in a fast-moving environment where processes are still evolving
• Clear communicator with a strong sense of ownership
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods, with or without reasonable accommodation
• Excited about BIG YES’s mission and the chance to grow with an early-stage company
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to read and communicate in English for safety and allergen procedures

A Food Handler Certificate and experience with allergen-free or gluten-free food production is a plus, but not required.

COMPENSATION & SCHEDULE

This is a full time, hourly, non-exempt position paying $22–$25 per hour, depending on experience.

The regular schedule is Sunday through Thursday, 40 paid hours per week, including a daily 30-minute paid meal break. Occasional Friday shifts may be required based on production needs, with advance notice provided.

LOCATION

This role is based at our Denver headquarters and is fully on-site.
