Production Baker / Bakery Assistant

Job Summary

Whistle Bakery is looking for a Production Baker / Bakery Assistant to help with daily bakery production. This role supports the Head Baker by assisting with baking, prep work, and maintaining a clean kitchen.

This is a full-time position, and early morning production shifts are required. It’s a great position for someone who enjoys working with their hands and being part of a team that creates fresh baked goods each day.

Responsibilities

• Assist with baking breads, pastries, and other bakery items
• Help prepare doughs, fillings, and ingredients
• Follow bakery recipes and production procedures
• Assist with shaping, proofing, and baking products
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
• Help with general production tasks as needed

Qualifications

• Baking or kitchen experience is helpful but not required
• Ability to follow recipes and instructions
• Strong work ethic and reliability
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
• Willingness to learn and work as part of a team

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
