Design Dental is a full-service dental laboratory producing crown & bridge, removable, and implant restorations for dental offices. Our production team keeps every case moving accurately and on time, from the moment it arrives to the day it ships.

About the Role
As a Production / Case Coordinator, you'll be the hub of our lab's workflow. You'll enter incoming cases, assign them to the right production workflows, schedule multi-stage work, invoice each case accurately, and keep communication flowing between departments and our client offices. This is a detail-driven role for someone who likes keeping many moving pieces organized.

No dental lab experience? That's okay. We provide a structured six-month training program with regular check-ins and hands-on mentoring. You'll build your skills step by step, starting with simple crown & bridge and removable cases and working up to implant and complex cases.

What You'll Do

• Enter case details accurately (case type, tooth, shade, material, due date) and track cases from intake through delivery
• Assign cases to the correct workflows (fixed, removable, implant) and to the appropriate offices or production paths
• Schedule multi-stage removable and implant cases, accounting for parts lead times
• Prioritize and manage rush cases, remakes, and problem cases
• Invoice cases using our step-based billing system and handle adjustments, remakes, credits, and add-ons
• Monitor the daily shipping list and case timelines to keep work on schedule
• Access scanner portals to retrieve digital scans, case files, and details
• Coordinate implant cases, including specifying components and ordering parts
• Communicate with internal departments and route office updates, ETAs, and questions to the front desk
• Reach out to dental offices to confirm case details rather than making assumptions

• Clear, professional communication, both written and verbal
• Comfort learning new software and working on a computer most of the day
• Ability to stay calm and prioritize when juggling rush and routine work
• Curiosity and a willingness to keep learning as workflows and systems evolve

Nice to Have

• Dental lab, dental office, or healthcare experience
• Familiarity with dental terminology, tooth numbering, or restoration types
• Experience with lab management software (such as Seazona) or scanner portals
• Background in production coordination, scheduling, billing, or data entry
