Production Chef

About the role

We are seeking a Production Chef to join Grammage Foods Sdn Bhd in Johor Bahru, Johor. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in our food production operations. Knowledgeable in hot food, pastry or baking.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and oversee the production of large quantities of food in compliance with standardised recipes and quality specifications

• Monitor food quality, presentation and taste to maintain consistent standards across all products

• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, hygiene standards and health codes throughout the production process

• Manage food inventory, including ordering, stock rotation and waste management to optimise costs

• Maintain accurate records of food production, including quantities, ingredients used and any incidents or issues

• Identify and troubleshoot production challenges to maintain timely delivery of products

• Collaborate with other departments to understand customer requirements and production timelines

• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of kitchen facilities and equipment
