Production Clerk

About the role

Responsible for supporting daily production operations by managing production records, coordinating material movement, preparing documentation, and ensuring accurate data entry to support smooth manufacturing activities.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain daily production reports and records.
• Perform data entry for production output, material usage, and work orders.
• Coordinate with warehouse, QA, and production teams to ensure smooth production flow.
• Issue and update production documents, labels, and lot travelers.
• Monitor production schedule and assist in tracking production progress.
• Ensure proper filing and documentation control for manufacturing records.
• Assist in inventory counting and material reconciliation activities.
• Support production team in administrative and clerical tasks.
• Report shortages, discrepancies, or production issues to supervisor.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures, documentation requirements, and safety regulations.

About you

• Minimum SPM / Diploma qualification.
• Basic computer knowledge, especially Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Good organizational and documentation skills.
• Able to communicate and coordinate with different departments.
• Detail-oriented and able to work independently.
• Experience in manufacturing environment is an added advantage.
• Familiar with ERP/MRP systems.
• Basic understanding of production workflow and inventory control.
• Good teamwork and time management skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel; experience with data tools / reporting.
