Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Production Specialist to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring efficient production processes, maintaining quality standards, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. Responsibilities

• Operate manufacturing equipment and machinery safely, including forklifts and power tools, adhering strictly to safety standards in production.
• Interpret technical drawings, manufacturing documents, and process instructions to ensure accurate assembly and production.
• Conduct measurements using various instruments to verify product specifications and quality standards.
• Assemble components manually or with mechanical assembly techniques on the production line, ensuring precision and efficiency.
• Manage manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting while following proper ergonomic practices and safety protocols.
• Support process improvement initiatives by identifying inefficiencies and suggesting solutions aligned with lean manufacturing principles.
• Collaborate with team members to manage production schedules, monitor workflow, and maintain high safety standards throughout all operations.

Requirements

• Proven factory experience within a manufacturing environment, with familiarity in assembly line processes.
• Strong mechanical knowledge complemented by experience using hand tools, measuring instruments, and interpreting technical drawings.
• Ability to operate forklifts safely; certification is preferred but not mandatory.
• Experience with manufacturing management systems or production documentation interpretation is advantageous.
• Knowledge of safety standards in production environments, including lean manufacturing practices and safety protocol adherence.
• Physical ability to perform manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting and manual assembly work regularly.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to follow detailed instructions accurately and work effectively as part of a team.

Pay: $23.35 - $28.12 per hour
