Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Production Specialist to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the efficient operation of our production line, maintaining high safety standards, and supporting continuous process improvement. Duties

• Operate forklifts and power tools safely to transport materials and assemble components within the production area
• Interpret manufacturing documents, technical drawings, and work instructions to ensure precise assembly and quality standards
• Use measuring instruments to verify dimensions and tolerances during production processes
• Conduct manual handling tasks, including heavy lifting, to move raw materials and finished products efficiently
• Assemble products on the production line following established procedures while adhering to safety protocols
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the manufacturing workspace in compliance with safety standards in production
• Support process improvement initiatives by identifying inefficiencies and assisting in implementing lean manufacturing practices
• Manage inventory levels within the warehouse, ensuring accurate stock control and timely replenishment of materials

Requirements

• Proven factory or manufacturing facility experience with a solid understanding of production workflows
• Hands-on experience with assembly line operations and mechanical assembly techniques
• Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, measuring instruments, and interpreting technical drawings
• Valid forklift certification or experience operating forklifts safely within a warehouse setting
• Knowledge of safety standards in production environments and strict adherence to safety protocol guidelines
• Mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot basic equipment issues and perform routine maintenance
• Strong manual handling skills, including heavy lifting and manual dexterity for detailed assembly tasks
• Experience managing or supporting production or assembly teams with a focus on efficiency and quality improvement
• Familiarity with manufacturing management systems or documentation processes related to production records

Pay: $25.51 - $30.73 per hour
