Production Control Assistant Engineer / Engineer

Job Description

• Assist in developing and maintaining production schedules based on sales forecasts and inventory levels
• Monitor Work-in-Progress (WIP) and Finished Goods (FG) levels and update records to maintain accurate stock information
• Update Finished Goods (FG) lists based on latest status and shipping plans to ensure error-free and timely warehouse shipment processes
• Manage product traceability requirements as needed
• Support the Finished Goods (FG) replacement process
• Assist senior planners in analyzing production efficiency and suggesting process improvements
• Resolve production issues in consultation with senior team members
• Prepare reports and presentations for management review
• Participate in cross-functional meetings to align production plans with business goals
• Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am – 5:30 pm
• Working Location: Kulim Hi-Tech Park, Kedah

Job Requirements

• Diploma in any related field
• Familiarity with production planning software, ERP systems (e.g., SAP), and Microsoft Excel
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions
• Proficient in task prioritization and workflow management
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• At least 1 year of experience in production planning, operations, or a related role is preferred; entry-level candidates and no experience with high interest are welcome to apply

Compensation

• Annual Leave: Starts at 14 days, increasing with years of service
• EPF and SOCSO statutory contribution
