Production Control Technician

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Production Control Technician to support production planning and scheduling activities, ensuring production operations run smoothly and customer delivery requirements are achieved. The role involves monitoring production status, coordinating priorities, tracking sales orders, and preparing factory performance reports to support on-time delivery (OTD) targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor daily production status and ensure production activities follow planned schedules.
• Coordinate production priorities and focus management to meet customer delivery requirements.
• Manage and track assigned production processes, including BBT and Router activities.
• Prepare and compile daily factory performance reports.
• Monitor sales order status and ensure timely production fulfillment.
• Work closely with Production, Planning, Engineering, Warehouse, and other departments to resolve scheduling issues.
• Update and maintain production planning records and reports.
• Support inventory and work-in-progress (WIP) monitoring to ensure smooth production flow.
• Identify and escalate production delays or bottlenecks that may impact customer deliveries.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

• Diploma or Certificate in Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Production Management, Supply Chain, or a related field.
• Minimum 1-3 years of experience in Production Control, Production Planning, Manufacturing Planning, or a related manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of production planning, scheduling, and manufacturing operations.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems is an added advantage.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.
• Able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Fresh graduates with relevant education and strong Excel skills are encouraged to apply.

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,300.00 per month
