What they need
The role
We are hiring a Production Controller in Finance, reporting to the CFO. You will own the accuracy of production data that Operations and Management use every day. That means volumes, yields, labor, processing times, inventory movements, and job records in MISys. You will also be the main trainer on MISys.
This is not a scheduling job. It is a data and control job that sits close to the plant. You will work with the Plant Manager, Production, Quality, Logistics, and Sales so the numbers in the system match what actually happened on the floor.
What you will do
- Monitor, collect, and validate production data through every stage of the process.
- Analyze volumes, yields, processing times, labor hours, downtime, efficiency, and product losses.
- Create, review, and close production jobs in MISys so records are complete and accurate.
- Reconcile raw materials, work in process, finished goods, and related inventory movements.
- Compare system information with actual production activity and investigate differences.
- Build and maintain production KPIs and regular reports for Operations and Management, plus ad hoc analysis when asked.
- Flag trends, gaps, and inconsistent results to the right team.
- Support traceability with clean lot, quantity, and movement records.
- Train plant users on MISys and help improve how production data is captured and used.
- Support continuous improvement projects with production data and analysis.
- Support food safety and compliance records tied to SQF, SMETA, and FSSC 22000, working with the Quality Manager.
What you bring
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. A bachelor’s degree is preferred. An associate degree plus strong relevant experience will be considered.
- At least 2 years in management control, cost analysis, or production control in manufacturing or an agro industrial company.
- Strong Excel skills for analysis and reporting. Access experience is a plus. MISys experience is valued and is not required.
- Clear written and verbal communication, including work with a multicultural team.
- High attention to detail, and the ability to handle several priorities and deadlines at once.
- Comfort on the production floor as well as in the system.
Helpful, not required
- Familiarity with SQF, HACCP, GMPs, SMETA, or FSSC 22000.
- Prior ownership of an ERP or inventory system in a food or agricultural plant.
