Production Coordinator

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Production Coordinator to join our dynamic Manufacturing team at Bee Lian Plastic . In this full-time position based in Senai, Johor, you will play a key role in coordinating and optimising our production processes to ensure we meet our operational targets and customer demands.

What you'll be doing

1. Develop and implement production schedules to maximise efficiency and productivity
2. Monitor production activities and address any issues or bottlenecks to keep operations running smoothly
3. Liaise with various departments, including purchasing, quality control, and logistics, to ensure seamless coordination
4. Analyse production data and generate insightful reports to support continuous improvement initiatives
5. Collaborate with the production team to identify and implement process improvements
6. Assist in the development and maintenance of production-related standard operating procedures
7. Provide training and guidance to production staff to enhance their skills and knowledge

What we're looking for

1. Minimum 1 years of experience in a production coordination or planning role, preferably in the manufacturing industry
2. Strong understanding of production planning, scheduling, and inventory management principles
3. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to think critically and respond quickly to changes
4. Proficient in using production planning and tracking software, as well as data analysis tools
5. Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams
6. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
