Production Coordinator – 1st or 2nd Shift

Join our dynamic manufacturing team as a Production Coordinator and play a key role in producing high‑quality products efficiently and safely. In this hands‑on position, you will operate machinery, manage materials with precision, and contribute to process improvements. Your expertise will help ensure smooth operations while maintaining strict safety and quality standards.

Duties

• Equipment operation: Safely operate manufacturing equipment and machinery, following all protocols and procedures.
• Assembly tasks: Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments to assemble components accurately.
• Material handling: Perform heavy lifting manually or with forklift equipment, ensuring proper handling and compliance.
• Technical interpretation: Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and production documents.
• Quality checks: Conduct inspections using calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify specifications.
• Workplace organization: Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Process improvement: Support lean manufacturing practices and identify opportunities for efficiency.
• Team collaboration: Partner with team members to meet daily production goals.

Skills

• Manufacturing experience: Background in factory or assembly line operations.
• Mechanical knowledge: Ability to interpret technical drawings and use tools effectively.
• Forklift operation: Safe use of forklifts and warehouse equipment; certification preferred.
• Quality control: Skilled in precision measurement and inspection techniques.
• Safety standards: Knowledge of manual handling, heavy lifting, and safety protocols.
• Document interpretation: Ability to follow detailed instructions for mechanical assembly.
• Lean manufacturing: Familiarity with process improvement methods.
• Technical proficiency: Skilled with power tools, hand tools, and mechanical assembly.
• Team leadership: Experience supporting production teams with a focus on safety and efficiency.

Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
