Production Coordinator

Job Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily production activities to ensure smooth and timely execution of production plans.
• Coordinate with the Production, QC, Purchase, Stores, and Dispatch departments to ensure uninterrupted workflow.
• Monitor production schedules, material availability, and inventory requirements.
• Maintain production records, batch manufacturing records, and daily production reports.
• Monitor production progress and report delays, material shortages, or other issues to the concerned departments.
• Ensure production activities are carried out according to approved SOPs, quality standards, and company procedures.
• Track production output, material consumption, and wastage, and maintain accurate documentation.
• Assist in preparing daily, weekly, and monthly production reports.
• Coordinate with the QC team for in-process quality checks and finished product clearance.
• Ensure proper documentation and timely updating of production trackers and spreadsheets.

Required Skills

• Good coordination, communication, and organizational skills.
• Basic knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office.
• Ability to maintain records, track production activities, and prepare reports.
• Ability to coordinate with multiple departments and manage tasks within deadlines.
• Prior experience in production coordination, inventory management, or manufacturing operations will be an added advantage.

QUALIFICATION
Bachelor’s degree, B.Tech., or M.Sc., preferably in Life Sciences or a related field.
