Overview

Our client, a leading pet products organization, is seeking a Production Designer (E-Commerce) to join their team on a full-time contract basis in Franklin, WI. This hands-on production-focused role is ideal for a detail-oriented designer who enjoys creating and adapting digital commerce content across Amazon, retailer websites, and other online retail platforms. The ideal candidate has strong production design skills, experience working within brand guidelines, and the ability to manage a high volume of assets while maintaining quality, accuracy, and consistency.

Responsibilities

• Design, produce, and adapt digital commerce assets including:
  • PDP image carousels
  • Amazon A+ and Premium A+ content
  • Amazon Brand Stores
  • Retailer-specific content
  • Digital advertising assets
• Translate approved creative concepts, briefs, and templates into polished, production-ready deliverables.
• Adapt creative assets across multiple product categories, retailer platforms, formats, and specifications.
• Execute image editing, retouching, compositing, and product image optimization.
• Resize, reformat, and optimize assets for Amazon and other retailer platforms.
• Support ongoing digital shelf maintenance, including:
  • Product updates
  • Packaging changes
  • New product launches
  • Content refreshes
• Maintain reusable templates, design systems, and content frameworks.
• Prepare final assets in appropriate formats, dimensions, and specifications for retailer distribution.
• Perform quality control checks to ensure accuracy and compliance with retailer requirements.
• Organize creative files, maintain version control, and support asset management workflows.
• Collaborate with Creative, eCommerce, and Brand teams to deliver projects on time and at a high level of quality.
• Explore opportunities to improve workflow efficiency through automation and AI-enabled creative tools.

Must-Haves

• 2-5 years of experience in graphic design, digital production, or related creative roles.
• Experience producing digital content for eCommerce, retail, consumer brands, or digital marketing.
• Strong portfolio showcasing digital asset production and multi-format design execution.
• Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, including:
  • Photoshop
  • Illustrator
  • InDesign
• Strong understanding of:
  • Typography
  • Layout and composition
  • Visual hierarchy
  • Brand consistency
• Experience preparing digital assets for multiple platforms and technical specifications.
• Strong image editing, retouching, compositing, and asset optimization skills.
• Experience working within established templates, brand guidelines, and design systems.
• Exceptional attention to detail and quality control.
• Strong organizational, file management, and version control skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience creating or adapting:
  • Amazon PDP image carousels
  • Amazon A+ content
  • Amazon Premium A+ content
• Familiarity with Amazon Brand Stores and retailer content requirements.
• Experience creating content for retailers such as Walmart, Chewy, Petco, or PetSmart.
• Experience with PIM and DAM platforms, including Salsify.
• Familiarity with Figma and collaborative design workflows.
• Experience with automation tools, batch processing, or template-driven production workflows.
• Familiarity with AI-enabled creative tools.
• Basic understanding of SEO, GEO, and digital shelf optimization.
• Experience within consumer packaged goods, retail, pet products, or multi-brand organizations.

Portfolio Requirements

Candidates should provide a portfolio featuring:

• Digital commerce assets such as PDP image carousels, Amazon A+ content, or retailer-specific creative
• Examples of adapting creative across multiple formats and platforms
• Strong typography, layout, image editing, and brand consistency
• High-quality production design execution and attention to detail

Examples of template-based design systems, high-volume asset production, or digital commerce content maintenance are highly preferred.

In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data. This position is onsite and requires you to work closely with other individuals in a collaborative team environment.
