Position Overview

We are seeking a technically skilled and detail-oriented Production Engineer – Aluminum & Façade to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and monitoring production activities for aluminum and façade systems, ensuring efficient manufacturing processes, optimum material utilization, adherence to approved drawings, and timely completion of production targets.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in aluminum fabrication, façade production processes, production planning, quality control, and coordination with design, procurement, and project teams.

Key Responsibilities

Production Planning & Coordination

• Plan, schedule, and monitor daily production activities for aluminum and façade systems.
• Coordinate production priorities based on project schedules, material availability, and site installation requirements.
• Ensure production targets and delivery deadlines are achieved.
• Monitor workflow and identify opportunities to improve productivity and operational efficiency.

Aluminum & Façade Fabrication

• Supervise and coordinate fabrication activities for curtain walls, aluminum windows and doors, shopfronts, cladding systems, and other façade components.
• Review approved shop drawings, cutting lists, fabrication details, and material specifications before production.
• Ensure fabrication is carried out according to approved drawings, project requirements, and manufacturing standards.
• Coordinate cutting, machining, assembly, glazing, and finishing processes as applicable.

Technical Coordination

• Coordinate with design and engineering teams to clarify drawing details and resolve fabrication-related technical issues.
• Verify dimensions, profiles, hardware, accessories, and material requirements before production.
• Ensure revisions to approved drawings are communicated to the production team.
• Coordinate with project and site teams to address technical queries and urgent requirements.

Quality Control

• Monitor production quality at each manufacturing stage.
• Ensure fabricated components meet approved specifications, tolerances, and quality standards.
• Identify non-conformities, investigate root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate inspections and maintain production quality records.

Material & Inventory Management

• Coordinate with procurement and stores teams to ensure timely availability of aluminum profiles, glass, hardware, accessories, and other materials.
• Monitor material consumption, wastage, and scrap.
• Promote efficient material utilization and minimize production losses.
• Report shortages, damaged materials, and production constraints promptly.

Team & Equipment Management

• Coordinate with production supervisors, machine operators, fabricators, and technicians.
• Monitor manpower allocation, machine utilization, and production performance.
• Ensure equipment is operated safely and maintenance requirements are reported.
• Enforce workplace safety procedures and good housekeeping practices.

Reporting & Continuous Improvement

• Prepare production reports covering output, productivity, wastage, quality issues, and pending work.
• Track production performance against planned targets.
• Identify bottlenecks and recommend improvements in workflow, processes, and resource utilization.
• Maintain accurate production documentation and records.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Production Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in aluminum and façade production or fabrication.
• Strong knowledge of aluminum façade systems, curtain walls, aluminum windows and doors, and related architectural systems.
• Hands-on experience with fabrication processes, cutting lists, shop drawings, and production planning.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and fabrication details.
• Experience coordinating production teams, materials, machinery, and manufacturing schedules.
• Good understanding of quality control, material utilization, and production efficiency.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and production reporting; knowledge of ERP systems is an advantage.
• Strong organizational, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to work in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in a façade or aluminum fabrication factory.
• Knowledge of CNC machines, aluminum cutting and machining equipment, and fabrication workflows.
• Familiarity with production planning software, ERP systems, and quality management procedures.
• Previous experience coordinating with project management, design, procurement, and site installation teams.
• Experience working on large-scale commercial, residential, or high-rise façade projects.

The ideal candidate will have practical factory-level experience in aluminum and façade fabrication, with the ability to translate approved shop drawings and project requirements into efficient production activities. The candidate should be proactive in managing production schedules, reducing material wastage, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring timely delivery to project sites.
