Production Engineer/ Assistant Production Engineer

Job Responsibilities:

1. Instruct the staff to conduct the operation in accordance with the operating procedures restrictively and complete the quality and quantity production tasks.
2. Organize all departments personnel to deal with various of production abnormalities to ensure the operation stability of pulp board.
3. Motivate production progress, arrange staff task and work together to improve the work and production efficiency.
4. Supervising and inspecting the process control, production inspection, troubleshooting, clean production, energy saving and consumption reduction during each shift working hours and correcting any abnormality or violation in a timely manner.
5. Report to the superiors regarding the work progress, problems and solutions and other work issues.
6. In charge for the work quality of the process and planned shutdown maintenance.
7. Be responsible for environment and safety management.
8. Be responsible for site management.
9. To communicate and coordinate with stock preparation, warehouse and other departments.
10. Coordinate the relationship among various positions and among the teams to create a honesty, trustworthy, competitive and collaborative working environment.
11. Be responsible for subordinate staff training.
12. Complete the other duties as assigned by the superior.
13. Uphold and ensure adherence to all applicable environmental, safety, and health regulations, as well as company policies and standards, fostering a culture of compliance and risk management.

Requirements:

• Degree in Chemical / Mechanical / Manufacturing / Industries Engineering.
• Proven experience in the manufacturing and engineering field.
• Candidates who have worked in a paper mill and have at least three years of hands-on experience in managing stock preparation process and paper machine will have added advantage, however, candidates with hands-on working experience in process-driven manufacturing plant can be considered, including but not limited to candidates from chemical processing industries, oil refineries, corrugated box plants, milling plant etc.
• Candidates must be willing to work on rotation shifts when it is necessary.
• Superb analytical, problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
• Strong leadership abilities.
• Superb written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to make decisions under pressure.
• Possess the awareness and management ability of on-site environmental, housekeeping and safety and can effectively lead the subordinates to carry out on-site safety and environmental management and implementation.
• Candidates must have good communication skills and be able to communicate with superior, colleagues and subordinates efficiently through various communication methods.
• Mandarin-speaking ability will be an added advantage, especially for candidates who are able to communicate effectively in both spoken and written Mandarin.
