Production Engineer automobile

The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams and implementing best practices for OEM manufacturing and documentation management.

1. Develop and maintain comprehensive OEM documentation, including product specifications, testing records, assembly instructions, technical manuals and quality standards.

2. Ensure accuracy and completeness of all OEM-related documents and records.

3. Identify opportunities for process improvement in the OEM manufacturing workflow.

4. Implement efficient document control systems to streamline processes and enhance productivity.

5. Work closely with engineering teams to understand product specifications and changes, incorporating them into OEM documentation.

6. Capability to handle OE audits by customers.

7. Establish and maintain a robust revision control system for process documentation.

8. Provide training to internal teams on the use of OEM documentation and other production related processes.

9. Act as a resource for teams seeking guidance on OEM documentation-related matters.

Skills Must to have:

1. Proven experience in OEM manufacturing and documentation management within a manufacturing environment in Automobiles

2. Strong understanding of engineering drawings, specifications and manufacturing processes.

3. Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to OEM manufacturing.

4. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

5. Proficient in document control systems and software.

6. Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Skills Good to have:

1. Experience with CAD software and other engineering tools.

2. Knowledge of product lifecycle management (PLM) systems.
