PRODUCTION ENGINEER

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure production lines achieve the required productivity, yield, and output.
• Monitor and maintain smooth production line operations.
• Ensure technicians and operators follow work instructions, SOPs, and safety requirements.
• Troubleshoot production and quality issues and implement effective solutions.
• Improve production performance by reducing defects, waste, and downtime.
• Implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) for production and quality issues.
• Control and manage non-conforming products according to company procedures.
• Ensure proper product identification and traceability throughout the production process.
• Provide technical support to resolve production issues and emergency situations.
• Work with other departments to achieve production and quality targets.
• Monitor production performance and recommend process improvements.

Sub Tasks

• Conduct technical training for technicians and operators.
• Monitor daily production performance and prepare production reports.
• Assist in process improvement activities to improve productivity and quality.
• Support new product or process implementation.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and safety requirements.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the Production Manager.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related Engineering discipline.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply. Candidates with at least 1 year of relevant working experience will have an added advantage.
• Able to communicate in Mandarin, Bahasa Malaysia, and English. Mandarin proficiency is preferred to support communication with Mandarin-speaking customers and stakeholders.
• Good communication and supervisory skills.
• Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes and engineering principles.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Able to work independently as well as in a team.
• Possess own transportation and accommodation.
