Production Engineer

Production Maintanance Engineer.

Responsibilities:

1. Control and maintain production machinery and equipment in accordance with established maintenance standards to ensure stable and continuous production operations.
2. Troubleshoot, analyze, and promptly resolve machine breakdowns and technical issues to minimize production downtime.
3. Continuously improve and optimize maintenance and production processes to enhance machine efficiency, productivity, and product quality compliance.
4. Analyze root causes of machine failures and production issues, and implement corrective and preventive actions to prevent recurrence.
5. Plan, schedule, and supervise Preventive Maintenance (PM) activities, including proper management and control of maintenance spare parts.
6. Coordinate closely with Production, Engineering, Quality, and other related departments to support maintenance activities and resolve operational issues.
7. Supervise and support Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) activities and continuous improvement projects within the department.
8. Provide technical guidance, coaching, and support to maintenance technicians and subordinates in machine troubleshooting and quality-related issues.
9. Support and lead cost reduction initiatives, focusing on reducing machine downtime, maintenance costs, and improving overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 3–5 years of experience in production maintenance, machine maintenance, or manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of preventive maintenance (PM), breakdown maintenance, and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM).
• Good understanding of production processes, machinery, and industrial equipment.
• Experience in root cause analysis and continuous improvement tools (e.g. PDCA, Kaizen, 5 Why).
• Ability to analyze problems systematically and implement effective corrective and preventive actions.
• Experience in spare parts planning, inventory control, and maintenance cost control.
• Ability to work under pressure and respond effectively to urgent machine breakdowns.
• Good leadership and communication skills, able to supervise and provide technical guidance to subordinates.
• Basic computer skills and ability to use maintenance or production-related systems.
• Willing to work Monday to Saturday (alternate Saturdays off).
