Production Engineer

Working Hours : Monday to Friday (08.00am until 05.30pm), Saturday (08.00am until 12.00pm)

Factory Location : PLO 217, Jalan Siber 10, Kawasan Perindustrian Senai,81400 Senai, Johor, Malaysia.

Position Summary:

Responsible for the engineering and technical disciplines needed to complete a project. The project engineer works to plan projects, establish project criteria, coordinate project reviews, and ensure the proper implementation of project elements.

• Responsible for the engineering and technical disciplines needed to complete a project. The project engineer works to plan projects, establish project criteria, coordinate project reviews, and ensure the proper implementation of project elements.
• Responsible for formulating a reasonable production plan and assigning it ti each team according to production plan
• Responsible for the formulation and tracking of production material requirements and communicate with relevant personnel
• Responsible for the tracking of the production progress, the execution of the completion of the production plan and the tracking and processing of abnormal orders
• Responsible for timely feedback to superiors and handling abnormal problems in production
• Report production issues or failures to the manager, investigate problems, analyse root causes and define resolutions
• Develop strategies to improve production efficiency
• Assist with factory development in automation and layout system improvements
• Maintains product and company reputation by complying with federal and state regulations.
• Perform engineering analysis to reduce downtime and outages.
• Prepares project status reports by collecting, analysing, and summarizing information and trends; recommending actions.
• Develop best practices to improve production capacity, quality and reliability.
• Investigate problems, analyse root causes and derive resolutions.
• Ensuring quality compliance is adhered by all operation personnel.
• Responsible for ensuring that company maintains a safe working environment, assisting safety personnel in formulating and designing safety protocols for the company.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field of study
• 3+ years of project experience working in manufacturing industry
• Excellent project management and supervision skills
• Ability to work with multiple discipline projects
