Job Description

• Monitor and analyze production processes specifically for the Aluminum Substrate Grinding Process
• Implement corrective actions to reduce defects, improve yield, and maintain process stability
• Coordinate with the maintenance team on machine improvements to minimize downtime
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and conduct root cause analysis for process deviations
• Collaborate with QA teams to ensure compliance with industry standards such as ISO and SPC
• Lead projects aimed at enhancing productivity, reducing cycle time, and improving cost efficiency
• Work closely with QA and NPI teams for new materials qualification activities
• Provide technical support and training to technicians regarding newly implemented items
• Maintain accurate process documentation, SOPs, and engineering reports
• Present production performance metrics to management
• Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am – 5:30 pm
• Working Location: Kulim Hi-Tech Park, Kedah

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering
• Minimum 2 years of experience in semiconductor, electronics, or HDD manufacturing is preferred
• Strong knowledge of process engineering, SPC, DOE, and Lean/Six Sigma tools
• Hands-on experience with precision equipment and cleanroom protocols
• Familiarity with CNC machining, automation, and robotics integration is an advantage
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills

Compensation

• Annual Leave: Starts at 14 days, increasing with years of service
• EPF and SOCSO statutory contribution
