As a result, we are seeking a Production Engineer to join the Malaga operation and play a key role in improving production performance, driving continuous improvement initiatives and supporting the next stage of growth.

The Opportunity

Reporting into the Operations team, you will work closely with production, workshop, engineering and leadership teams to improve manufacturing efficiency, quality, throughput and operational performance.

You will be one of the people helping identify bottlenecks, improve systems, analyse production data and deliver practical engineering solutions that make a measurable difference.

Key Responsibilities

• Support daily manufacturing and production operations
• Analyse production performance, workflows and manufacturing data
• Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives
• Improve productivity, quality, delivery and cost outcomes
• Assist with capacity planning and workflow optimisation
• Support process development and standardisation
• Investigate production issues and implement corrective actions
• Develop production reports, KPIs and performance metrics
• Work closely with workshop, fabrication and engineering teams
• Support safety, quality and operational excellence initiatives
• Assist with new equipment, projects and manufacturing improvements

What We're Looking For

We're less interested in finding the perfect CV and more interested in finding an engineer who wants to improve, build and make an impact.

Ideally you'll bring:

• Degree qualified Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial or Production Engineering background
• 2+ years' experience within manufacturing, fabrication, mining services or heavy industry
• Experience working within production or manufacturing environments
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capability
• Exposure to Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement or Operational Excellence initiatives
• Ability to analyse data and translate findings into practical actions
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Hands-on approach and willingness to spend time on the factory floor
• A mindset focused on improvement rather than maintaining the status quo

Highly Regarded

• Mining products or heavy fabrication experience
• ERP system exposure
• Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma or Continuous Improvement training
• Experience working with metals, wear products or industrial manufacturing
