Production Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• New Model & Project Management: Lead and coordinate new model projects from project initiation through mass production launch. Develop schedules, manage budgets, and coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure successful and timely delivery.
• TPM & Equipment Reliability: Develop, implement, and sustain Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) activities. Lead root-cause analysis to improve machine reliability, reduce downtime, and enhance Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
• Automation & Continuous Improvement: Initiate and drive automation projects (Industry 4.0, Robotics) to optimize manufacturing processes and reduce operating costs. Lead Kaizen and continuous improvement initiatives utilizing Lean Manufacturing principles.
• Machine & Equipment Management: Oversee machinery maintenance, troubleshooting, and performance monitoring. Ensure all production equipment operates efficiently, safely, reliably, and within budget.
• Team Leadership & People Development: Lead, coach, and empower team members to strengthen their technical and leadership capabilities. Conduct performance evaluations and foster a collaborative, high-performance working environment.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related fields.
• Minimum 5-10 years of experience in manufacturing, production engineering, or factory management, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or management level.
• Strong technical knowledge of PLC, Automation Systems, Robotics, Industry 4.0, and TPM.
• Proven experience in New Model Management, production process improvement, and cost reduction projects.
• Familiarity with ISO systems, safety standards, and quality assurance in the automotive or manufacturing industry (Automotive experience is highly preferred).
• Excellent analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and strong leadership skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Good command of spoken and written English, and proficiency in MS Office and engineering software.
