Production Engineer

We are currently hiring a Production Engineer for one of our clients, a growing company specialized in Furniture Manufacturing and Hospitality Projects , based in Mivida, Fifth Settlement – New Cairo .

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Production Engineer with a strong background in wood and furniture manufacturing to oversee and optimize production processes, ensuring that projects are delivered according to the required quality standards, specifications, and timelines.

The ideal candidate should have solid hands-on experience in wooden furniture production , preferably within hospitality, hotel, contract, or custom-made furniture projects .

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and follow up on daily production activities and manufacturing processes.
• Plan and monitor production schedules to ensure timely project delivery.
• Coordinate with the Technical Office, Procurement, Quality, and Installation teams .
• Ensure production is carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Monitor production workflow, manpower, materials, and overall productivity.
• Identify production issues and implement practical solutions to minimize delays and rework.
• Monitor material usage and reduce production waste.
• Follow up on the manufacturing of wooden furniture and customized furniture items.
• Ensure proper implementation of production procedures and quality requirements.
• Track production progress and provide regular updates to management.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, quality, and efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering , preferably Production, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering.
• 7+ years of relevant experience in Production Engineering.
• Mandatory experience in wood/furniture manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of woodworking and furniture production processes .
• Experience in hospitality, hotel, contract, or custom furniture is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of production planning, workflow management, and quality control.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work in a project-based and fast-paced environment.
