Key Responsibilities

• Plan and monitor daily, weekly and monthly production activities as per the production schedule.

• Ensure achievement of production targets within the defined time, cost and quality parameters.

• Monitor shop-floor activities and ensure smooth production flow.

• Allocate manpower and ensure optimum utilization of manpower, machines and materials.

• Read and understand engineering, fabrication and production drawings.

• Coordinate with PPC, Design, Purchase, Stores, Quality, Maintenance and Dispatch departments.

• Ensure availability of required raw materials, hardware, accessories and consumables for production.

• Monitor production processes for aluminium doors, windows, fa ade components and related products.

• Identify production bottlenecks and take corrective actions to avoid delays.

• Monitor rejection, rework, scrap and material wastage and take measures to reduce them.

• Ensure products are manufactured as per approved drawings, specifications and quality standards.

• Maintain daily production records, machine records, manpower details and Daily Production Reports (DPR).

• Troubleshoot technical and process-related problems on the shop floor.

• Implement 5S, Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Coordinate with the Maintenance team to minimize machine breakdown and production downtime.

• Ensure adherence to company SOPs, safety rules and work instructions.

• Train and guide operators/workers regarding production processes and work methods.

• Monitor productivity and identify opportunities for improving production efficiency.

• Support new product/process development and implementation of process improvements.

• Prepare production-related MIS and reports for management review.
