Production Engineer

1.        Responsible for analysis of Yield by each Segment in the production line,

2.        Conduct initial investigation, and set action plan for immediate correction of yield fluctuation. Report analysis to Production Manager and relay information to Production Supervisor.

3.        Conduct improvement activities for Top defects on a particular Segment.

4.        Initiate Quality improvement activity. Conduct the following methodologies such as 1) Process Analysis, 2) Defect mapping, 3) C and E Analysis, 4) Mistake Proofing, and 5) other problem-solving methodologies to scientifically solve the problem.

5.        Initiate Productivity improvement activity. Conduct 1) Time and motion study, 2) Man-machine chart analysis, and 3) Process Flow improvement to optimize the STU.

6.        Initiate Cost improvement activity. Conduct 1) Material Analysis, and 2) Labor Cost Analysis to improve costing of particular issue.

7.        Merge activities with Process Engineering and/ or Machine Engineering for related issues of subject to be solved.

8.        Processes 5M1E document related to production system.

9.        Design 5S in work cell, and other areas in Production operation.

10.     Conduct training of operators to 1) improve methods, and/ or to conduct 2) re-orientation.

11.     Prepare presentation documents, and able to present the said module on large audiences.

12.     Perform other activities as assigned by Production Manager.
