Production Engineer

About the role

Agon Pacific Co., Ltd. is seeking a skilled and dedicated Production Engineer to join our team in Ban Chang, Rayong. This is a full-time position that plays a critical role in optimizing our manufacturing operations and ensuring the delivery of high-quality products. As a Production Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and improving production processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and maintain the highest standards of quality and safety. Key responsibilities

1. Analyze and optimize production processes to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and increase output capacity
2. Design and implement process improvements and innovations to enhance manufacturing performance and product quality
3. Monitor production operations and identify bottlenecks, technical issues, and areas for improvement
4. Conduct regular equipment maintenance reviews and coordinate with maintenance teams to ensure optimal functionality
5. Prepare detailed technical documentation, process flow diagrams, and standard operating procedures
6. Collaborate with quality assurance teams to establish and maintain quality standards throughout the production process
7. Investigate production failures and implement corrective and preventive actions to minimise recurrence
8. Support the implementation of new machinery, equipment, and technology in the production facility
9. Conduct cost-benefit analyses for process improvements and capital investment proposals
10. Provide technical support and training to production staff on new processes and equipment
11. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations within the production facility
12. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, quality, and logistics departments

What we're looking for

1. Bachelor's degree in Production Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline
2. Minimum of 2-3 years of professional experience in production engineering or manufacturing operations
3. Strong knowledge of production processes, manufacturing systems, and industrial equipment
4. Proficiency in using process simulation software and engineering design tools
5. Experience with Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar continuous improvement methodologies
6. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex production challenges
7. Strong project management capabilities with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
8. Proficient in technical documentation and data analysis
9. Excellent communication skills in both written and verbal English to collaborate effectively with international teams
10. Knowledge of quality management systems and safety standards in manufacturing environments
11. Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage stakeholder relationships
12. Familiarity with CAD software and manufacturing execution systems is preferred
13. Experience in the chemical, pharmaceutical, or related manufacturing industries is advantageous
